about me
I have only recently joined Calder Wealth Management, however, have worked in the financial services industry in an administration role since 1998. Upon finishing my formal education, I travelled to London, where I attended the Royal Ballet School, which was the experience of a lifetime. I still like to keep fit and healthy by practicing yoga.
What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
Building strong, lasting relationships with clients in wealth management really comes down to trust and communication. Clients need to feel that you genuinely have their best interests at heart, and that trust is built over time through consistent, honest conversations.
What do you love most about being part of Calder Wealth Management?
What I love most about being part of Calder Wealth Management is the collaborative team environment. It’s refreshing to work with a group of people who share the same passion for helping clients succeed but also bring different perspectives and expertise to the table. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here, and it’s amazing how we all work together to solve problems, bounce ideas around, and support each other in the process.
What would you be doing if you weren't working in wealth management?
If I wasn’t in wealth management I would probably be in some other administrative role, as that is where my strengths lay. Either that or a dance teacher, which is where my background began.
How should people think about their wealth?
Wealth should be viewed as something that provides freedom and opportunity—whether it's to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle now, create a secure future, support causes you care about, or leave a legacy for future generations.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I enjoy shopping, dining out and spending time with my family and friends in my spare time. I also practice yoga regularly.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
I’d say my efficiency and perfectionism are the qualities that make me well-suited to what I do. Being efficient means I’m able to streamline processes, manage time well, and ensure things are moving smoothly without unnecessary delays.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the longevity in my career. Being able to build lasting relationships with clients and continuously adapt to changes in the industry has been a rewarding journey.
