about me

I’ve always been a numbers girl but really feel I’ve found my home in financial planning and love the relationships we are able to build as advisers. I relax at the end of work by hanging out with my 2 young boys and cooking for their growing appetites. I love going on road trips and exploring our beautiful country and like to escape all the seriousness of life by watching trashy TV!

What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
I love people. I like to hear people’s stories and this helps me get to know my clients to get the best result for them.

What do you love most about being part of Calder Wealth Management?
I love that our team are passionate about what we do and are client focussed.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working at Calder Wealth Management?
I would love to write a recipe and food blog.

What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
I love that the work we do helps people relax and gives people peace of mind to know that their goals are achievable and will occur. Financial stress is one of the most common and prevalent factors in today’s world and our job is to alleviate as much of that as we can.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
I previously spent 10 years working as an Accountant and having existing clients refer others to me is the ultimate compliment! This confirms I’m doing something above the standard of what they expect.

How should people think about their wealth?
I think people need to think of managing their wealth in a similar fashion to buying their first home. You need to start with a solid foundation and then the house will need maintenance over the years to keep producing the best result.

What do you love to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love to cook and entertain. I love spending quality time with my family and planning our next holiday.

What’s the most influential book you’ve read?
Kane & Abel by Jeffrey Archer. I love this sort of read – escapism, drama and ambition.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
My personal accomplishments are definitely centred around the happiness of my children. If they are relaxed and enjoying life and achieving then I feel ultimately fulfilled.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
To be the best version of yourself that you can be.
