about me

I live in Adelaide with my wife and three young children. I started working in financial services in 2000 and then chose to focus on financial planning, joining Calder Wealth Management in 2005. During my time as an adviser I have learned that the one constant in life is change and I enjoy working closely with clients to navigate change and plan for the future. 

What do you love to do outside of work?
Spend time with my family and friends. I try and spend as much time outdoors as I can and I love riding my mountain bike in the hills, being down at the beach or just working in the garden.   

What do you love most about being part of Calder Wealth Management?
We all share a consistent approach to helping clients and a culture that fosters long lasting relationships. 

What’s the biggest challenge in wealth management?
Making sure that each client’s plans remain flexible enough to withstand the constantly changing legislative and economic landscape as well as their own changing needs and requirements. 

What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
Helping clients plan for and then achieve their chosen lifestyle and financial objectives is rewarding. The fact that everyone’s situation and objectives differ keeps work interesting. 

What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
Being a good listener. Understanding what my clients are setting out to achieve personally and financially is the basis for all that follows. As such listening first before considering the options and then advising on a path to achieve them is essential.  

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
Having managed to squeeze a good dose of adventure, travel, study, work and now family into life thus far.
