about me

I have lived in Adelaide my whole life, and I couldn’t imagine raising my family anywhere else. Growing up, my mum would always talk to me about investing. So it was no real surprise that my first job out of school was with a Fund Manager.  I then progressed into Financial Planning, and have been working in the industry for 20 years.

What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
Helping clients have financial peace of mind so that they are free to focus their energy on things that they enjoy. Helping people achieve what they want is very fulfilling.

What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
Being a people person. I genuinely love spending time with and getting to know people. As well as helping people achieve things – whether it be big or small.

What do you love to do outside of work?
My favourite thing is volunteering at the language school in our community club. It makes my heart sing to see the younger generation take an interest in culture and tradition.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working in wealth management?
Probably something to do with coffee… I really love coffee.

What do you love most about being part of Calder Wealth Management?
There is something to learn from every single person I work with, and I value that.

What’s the most influential book you’ve read?
The Happiest Refugee by Anh Do which made me realise that happiness is a choice, not a result. Also, that there is no reason to fear failure.
