You will receive comprehensive training and following a 6-month learning phase you will be required to enhance your skills further by undertaking a Diploma of Financial Planning.
Who are we?
Calder Wealth Management is a private wealth business with established offices in Unley, Victor Harbor and in 2017 Melbourne. Established in the early 1980's our firm has been providing financial advice to private and corporate clients for over 35 years.
Why work for us?
- We are passionate about what we do
- We have deep and real relationships with our clients
- We have an outstanding reputation in our industry
- We have a professional young team who prosper in an easygoing environment
- We have a strong team culture with an excellent career development model

What does the role involve?
The primary purpose of this role is to support the paraplanners and ultimately financial advisers by focusing on the technical side of the financial advice process. You will do this by undertaking research, analysing client data and using your analytical and technical skills to help the paraplanners build the financial strategy for clients. You will then formalise the strategy into Statements of Advice, which are presented to clients by the advisers. You will work with a strong team of specialists who will support your learning about and understanding of the financial planning industry.
Who are you?
You will be an intelligent individual with a willingness to learn. This is a technical role not a client facing role where you will be asked to conduct research and analysis of financial information. You must be able to understand financial strategy and translate this into user-friendly language for our clients. You will have impeccable personal presentation, show that you can be self-motivated, and not micro managed. You must show that you can manage pressure and conflicting priorities whilst maintaining a positive attitude. Most importantly, you will have a strong attention to detail.
